So I bought my new crossbow Wrath 430X and found out quickly I need a new target! My compound target just doesn't stop this bolt. Maybe a video idea could be on crossbow targets for faster crossbows and heavier arrows.

I know I’m late to the party here, but I’m a big fan of Swhacker broadheads As a matter of fact, I shoot the 100 125 and 150 from my crossbows and the 150 is my preferred broadhead in all of those. What I find interesting is that if you go on Swhacker website and look at the Q&A section they state that there is no difference between their regular heads and those marked crossbow. The retailers wanted head marked crossbow as a sales point. I also shoot REK, Sevr, NAP FOC, and all of these perform well and fit my bolts very well. I know that NP and sever also make vertical bow heads so I’ve never compared those.

I want to ask whether a compound bow or a cross bow is stronger for hunting big bears?

I just bought a barnett xp350 for $95 on sale out the door and honestly it punches way above its price. Not sure about the power on game but its pretty impressive so far.

Rich just started using C/B and went with K/I 405 fps with Eagle Claw arrows with Swhacker 2” and Lumnok’s these old eye need them. Will see what I can do this hunting season.

I would like your oppinion about the vertical mini crossbow from hickory creek. Sure it have just 325fps, but many other features hunters like. Maybe interesting for next model watch ?

I have had many Excalibur CROSSBOWS, the Equinox an matrix 380 an then the Matrix 405! I have had that for 10 yrs now and have had the Limbs replaced because of small splinters on the recurve part. For the new 2-3k crossbows with cables I have seen I won’t change for them an keep my Matrix 405!

So are you saying all those hunters out there that can't afford the top of the line crossbows, should not bother even trying a bear hunt? R us people with lower, supposedly lower quality of a crossbows, allowed to even deer hunt now? I will admit to one thing, you sure have come a ways. But if you're happy, I wrecking that's all that matters. Maybe I'm wrong and how you have metamorphosized, hope I am, not so sure anymore. Anyways, it was a good ride. Still wish you the best. All hunters, no matter your affordability to purchase whatever you purchase. It's all about getting out there, giving it your best, and enjoying every second. Nothing brings me more happiness or peace of mind.😊
